I believe the Goldwing lends it's self best to the Richland Roadster motorcycle trike conversion kit because they have a very high center of gravity. And when you have a passenger the combined weight almost becomes dangerous as you try to maintain its upright position when stopped in traffic. Have you ever had a Goldwing fall on you??? I remember the first time it happened to me. (YES... IT'S HAPPENED MORE THAN
ONCE.) I was going to breakfast, and my business partner Steve and I were pulling into the parking lot. Steve was riding a Suzuki Intruder and didn't have enough room to stop. So because he is long legged he just stood up, let the bike go, and came running past me without a bike. Hearing the crash behind me as I came to a stop on my Goldwing, I knew what had happened.
Because I needed all my strength to belly laugh, I didn't have enough strength left and the Goldwing fell on me, trapping me under the bike. We had to get a couple of local farm boys to lift it off of me... So muchfor looking like a tough biker dude.....
